All articles published in Medición y Evaluación del Aprendizaje Inclusivo (MEAI) are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. This license allows anyone to copy, distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the published material—even for commercial purposes—provided that proper credit is given to the original authors and the journal.

This policy underscores MEAI’s commitment to open access, the democratization of knowledge, and the barrier-free dissemination of scientific research.

Authors retain full rights to their work and may deposit it in institutional repositories, academic platforms, and other open-access systems without restriction.

Digital Preservation Policy

To ensure long-term accessibility and preservation of its published content, Medición y Evaluación del Aprendizaje Inclusivo (MEAI) implements the following strategies:

  • Regular backups of the journal’s servers and files.
  • Continuous updates and maintenance of the Open Journal Systems platform to prevent technological obsolescence.
  • Assignment of a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to every published article, ensuring traceability and long-term accessibility.
  • Storage of files in multiple formats (PDF, HTML, and XML-JATS) to facilitate future access and reproduction.
  • Reduction of technological dependencies and detailed documentation to ensure the preservation system’s self-sufficiency.
  • Active preservation strategies, including data refreshing, technological migration, digital archaeology, and software preservation.

Additionally, MEAI participates in the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) Private Network and the Public Knowledge Project - Private LOCKSS Network (PKP-PLN). These initiatives ensure decentralized storage of journal content across partnering libraries, allowing recovery in the event of server failures.

These measures guarantee that articles published in Medición y Evaluación del Aprendizaje Inclusivo (MEAI) remain accessible, intact, and safeguarded against data loss over time.
