History of the Journal

The journal Medición y Evaluación del Aprendizaje Inclusivo(MEAI) informs its academic community, authors, reviewers, and readers about the institutional strengthening and editorial restructuring process carried out in recent years, aimed at consolidating scientific quality, editorial transparency, international visibility, and the comprehensive management of its scholarly publications.

During 2024, the journal operated under the sagesphere.com domain as part of the Sage Sphere Editions editorial initiative. Subsequently, in 2025, a technological, administrative, and editorial migration process was implemented toward a new institutional environment, officially adopting the framework of Editorial JOGB S.A.S.. This transition responded both to strategic and technological modernization criteria and to the need to strengthen the organizational and legal structure of the publishing house, ensuring greater institutional stability, transparency in editorial processes, and alignment with international standards for scientific publishing.

Likewise, since 2026, the journal has maintained an academic co-publishing partnership with the Faculty of Law, Political and Social Sciences of the Technical University of Oruro, strengthening interinstitutional cooperation and the development of academic networks aimed at promoting scientific research, editorial internationalization, and compliance with quality criteria required by scientific evaluation and indexing systems.

This institutional collaboration contributes to strengthening editorial policies, ensuring the traceability of academic processes, continuously improving peer-review standards, and consolidating mechanisms for interoperability, digital preservation, and scientific visibility, in accordance with international best practices in scholarly communication and open science.

The institutional transition also responds to the need to optimize editorial processes through specialized platforms, improve the management of scientific metadata, and guarantee a more solid, transparent, and sustainable editorial infrastructure for the dissemination of scientific knowledge through open access.

Likewise, this process represents the definitive consolidation of the publishing house under the name Editorial JOGB S.A.S., progressively replacing the former Sage Sphere Editions structure with the purpose of establishing a more efficient, coherent, and internationally aligned editorial management model.
